About
Communicating Compassionately:
Communication is changing lives
every day to get peacefully to the root of violence, pain and conflict. By examining
the unmet needs behind what we do or say, communication helps reduce hostility,
heal pain, strengthen emotional connections and improve the quality
of professional and personal relationships.
I have trained with international peacemaker, mediator and founder of the Center for Nonviolent
Communication, Dr Marshall Rosenberg, who spends more than 250 days each
year teaching NVC in some of the most impoverished, war-torn states
of the world.
Approximately 180 certified trainers and hundreds more teach NVC
and Compassionate Communication in
35 countries to more than 250,000 people each year. I am presently a
candidate for trainer certification with CNVC.
